It took battling many fights that weren't mine to embrace "The Softer Side of Life." Writing has always been a God-given talent for me, one I've cherished since childhood. Both reading and writing were my first loves, and I'd spend entire days tucked away in my room, lost in novels and music.

For years, I wrestled with accepting my purpose as an author and the call to inspire the world through my words. I began my brand, L.A. Owens, as a fashionista, influencing women with my taste in women's fashions. While this, too, inspired many, I knew something was missing. I yearned for "that more," and now, I am ready. It's time to share book after book of life's experiences through my eyes. I believe everyone has a story, though not every story is told.
